Girls are females under the age of 18. So you admitted a lot. also many women, most women, I’d say almost all women, don’t care about your opinion.
Girls is a term used almost regardless of age in some places. In the UK, for example, women going out for a night often refer, themselves, to going out with the 'girls' and they are in their 40s. And I've heard some women in their 40s referring to their boobs as 'the girls'. I often refer to a woman under 25 as young woman but also as 'girl' because many aren't yet wiling to consider themselves so old as the word woman implies.
Your use of words is not the world's use of words, please don't forget that. I respect your opinion, but please don't define someone else's opinion. Thanks.
We try to keep a lid on it without being draconian. But yeah, a gentle reminder that this is a women's forum, and men are tolerated but not encouraged to post here. And, to answer the topic, women look best wearing whatever the hell they want to wear.
I get the point of them for women but wish they didn't feel so obligated to wear them especially some of them which I'm sure require quite a balancing act!
Jane is having a weekend away with the girls and she is 71. One of the other girls is our daughter. She is almost 40 and a met police officer. When I mentioned her terminology, she said what would you prefer me to say, "A weekend away with the geriatrics". I suppose she had a point.
I don't feel obligated to wear them. I wear them because I want to. I like the way they make my legs look, and the added height and clop clop clop sound you make walking in them makes me feel powerful.
