Do you believe guys who say this? I generally do believe them, but I recently saw a thread on another forum where women said that "men who say this don't really know what no makeup really looks like and usually refer to women who wear very light makeup" and that "a lot of women look bad and receive bad comments when they have no makeup at all". And this made me wonder, do other girls not believe that they can be pretty without makeup? It is kinda obvious that women aren't ugly by default, it's just that society has put many unrealistic standards on how we should look. So that's why people automatically pay attention to all of women's imperfections. But comments like these make it seem like women think they literally NEED makeup, and there is no way that a guy might like them without makeup... Is society really that hard on us?
My view is, if you can SEE that they are wearing makeup, then they are wearing too much. Adding a little colour and disguising the odd pimple is fine for a special night out, but otherwise I would rather see any woman in her natural skin.
I wonder if men's attitudes are based on very casual impressions, plus ignorance. A guy might say "I wish women didn't use makeup" and then end up preferring women who actually do use some. But if you pushed him for why he feels that way, he could respond with "She looks more alive" or "Her color's better" or something equally vague. That man wouldn't know about the actual products that a woman might use, but he might pick up an overall look. It would be more difficult to accept that a completely natural look involves some blemishes and maybe a duller overall effect.
Natural for me. Seems rather old fashioned and adheres to "women trying to attract men." Why should women have to paint themselves up like clowns? And scratch all the hair from underarms? Same thing with the ridiculous high heeled shoes! What are they even for?
Just yesterday my wife and I were watching 'The Voice' on TV and Meghan McCain had, obviously, had a complete makeover. Well, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was one of the guests and she, too, had a makeover. They had the two of them side-by-side on a split screen and I couldn't help but say, "talk about the epitome of "lipstick on pigs". Well, this instigated a bit of a argument between me and the wife about women wearing disguises. I mentioned how women want to be taken seriously and just how seriously can you take a person with clown makeup? The argument ended when I reminded the wife that, in the military, women are allowed cosmetics in uniform but men are not. Oh, but, women do walk equal rights, huh?
Look, make-up can make a woman more beautiful, yes. BUT what is the real face of the girl in what? Right. In sex! Especially when she is fucked hard in all the holes. Because we can see the most real women where? In porn! Oh yes, there is never a lot of porn. There are only a few girls who know how to become a porn star. Time to help them! There is one Starxxx agency that sits at the heart of the porn industry. In San Fernando, Los Angeles. This is where you can find real women!
Ok, I 100% feel you on this as I’ve seen hella random dudes on the internet post a pic of a ~natural beauty~ with a face that took at least 45 minutes to put on. Apparently a lot of the cis/het male gaze is blind to foundation/contour/highlight/blush/nude colored eye looks and nude lips. Lmao. As a general rule, I wear very little makeup. When I perform burlesque... I go full Jessica Rabbit. I look and feel great both ways.
I think it depends on the individuals. So for a bit of context, my gf has barely worn any makeup since we met (usually she doesn’t wear any including lipstick. I actually prefer her natural as that’s the person I fell for but other girls I’ve seen/dated I had no issues with makeup as that’s how I’m used to seeing them. Sometimes people put way too much on too and it hides their features which is often a bad thing.
Little known stuff about makeup. In the Middle-ages Italian women would chew Belladonna plant leaves to make their eyes dilate (they got a little high too). Because as a female gets aroused her pupils dilate. Today, look closely at fashion photos of close-up female faces and you'll see the dilated pupils, now often added after the shot. Lipstick was originally designed to mimic aroused labia and vulva which redden with arousal. Of course, the original intent has been lost, but it still works!
I absolutely agree that women look way better without makeup or very little make up at all the natural look is sexier then having your face painted on and then having to remove it with chemicals ladies please use less make up or none at all your naturally beautiful
My thoughts are that if a woman can't roll out if bed start her day because she needs to paint on some mask first, there's some self confidence issues that I'm not interested in dealing with. This isn't about mascara blush and run, but the full on mask needed before coming down for coffee.
A little makeup is okay, but when a gal wears so much she looks like a painted doll it's a turnoff. Some women look great without makeup but not all, you can't generalize. And as they get older they tend to wear more.
I like natural. My wife wears a little makeup when going out but most of the time she doesn’t wear makeup.
i don't go anywhere i don't put on make up when i do-- lipstick when we don't need to wear a mask--- so i don't look dead
