Given the amazing poll results, I think some girls have confused the labia minora and the labia maiora.
The poll is only dealing with the labia minora (that is the inner pussy lips).

I now feel forced to show it in graphic detail. This woman's fantastic lips would belong in the category "big", and I doubt it that the large majority of girls here who voted in that same category, actually have the same size of lips.

 

i dunno. this whole "correlation" thing sounds made up to me. historically speaking, fertility fetishes have always been on the fatter side because a certain amount of body fat is required to be able to give birth and means you've got enough to eat to feed your children. and look how most of us have an innate desire to see a chubby (not obese) baby, how it's the epitome of health for many of us. i think a desire to see labia minora as large is just a part of our jaded desire to see something new and different.

 

That's possible. On the other hand the sexuological research about men's preferences for well developed vulva's is so strong, that it suggests that size has to do something with genetic health (as is exactly the case for big penises and those who own them.)

And you're absolutely right about the "chubby" thing; in the past, when giving birth was a huge risk and bigger women (because of their bigger hips) had less problems at it than slim women. With today's enormous advantages in the field, this rule is no longer so strict. But the imagery still persists, and indeed, I think most men subconsciously prefer the voluptuous woman.

 

yeah. health cues aren't just attributable to our genitalia. after all, tiny inner labia wouldn't have made it this far, genetically speaking, if it was considered an undesirable physcial trait by someone. that may be changing for whatever reason, along with our personal usage of sex being more recreational than reproductive than ever before.

As you say, it's impossible to estimate the importance of each of these factors. From an evolutionary point of view, I'm quite certain that voluptuousness (big hips) is far far more important for success than the size of the labia minora.

Actually I do mind! I would LOVE you to post an elaborate list of scientific articles stating that bigger penises and labia minora means better genes. Reproductional capacity is NOT correlated to penis or labia size. Procreation depends on fertility, not size.
By the way, you are contradicting yourself! If the "quality" of your genes is linked to labia size, than why promote stretching? It will not affect our genes or fertility to stretch. Or are you trying to make us women "deceive" men by making them believe we are "genetically better" than we really are?
By the way, BMI is outmoded, it is now known that bodyfat percentage for example is a much more useful measurement.

Every pussy is great as it is, and should not be changed unless there is physical discomfort. Large lips should not be made smaller, and small ones should not be stretched!

Thats not necessarily true, I saw a picture of a GREEN vagina the other day and I've never wanted to puke more in my life. I mean, it was green.

 

It is sad that women get those vaginal reduction surgeries. It makes me angry almost. I may be speaking from a biased perspective, but I prefer large meaty vaginas as oposed to smaller snatches.

I wouldn't speak negatively to a woman about the look of her vagina, regardless of the size, but I do prefer larger vaginas. I can't help this. The first couple of girls that I dated had meaty vaginas, especially the first one. I noticed later after experiencing other women that I find some more of a turn-on than others.

Even considering this, I look at a woman's character first, with many things in the middle, and her looks last. I guess that a woman's body matters to me, but it is the last thing in order of importance.
