if its love then you shouldnt need to buy her shit. just do nice things. but i get the vibe you're somewhat of a jerk.
not true at all. i love when my boyfriend is sentimental with me. I'm more inclined to have sex with him then than if he acts like nothing is meaningful. "hey babe" "are you forgetting something?" "only everything that happened last night, i got drunk as fuck" "its my birthday" "oh well. wanna fuck?"
it's different once you're already in a relationship with him. if he wasn't initially kind of a douche i'm sure he never would have had a chance in the first place.
I think she just might be trying to tell you that she does not feel appreciated and then she does not feel affectionate. Sometimes it is little things that make us feel good. For me, if my partner brings me my first cup of coffee, that is love. I can buy what I want for myself but those little things like opening a door, seating me at a restaurant. They matter and go a long way. Good luck and try a few little things...........may just work.
You appear to have found the 1 in 1,000,000 that is actually attracted to nice guys and not assholes. In my experience, the other 999,999 are attracted to assholes and not nice guys. Go buy a lottery ticket, you'll probably win $1,000,000.
You should hold on to her ... she is a gem. Men need to recognise that women are superior and their needs should be put at the centre of the relationship.
I second that. But also make sure your not being used. The important thing is to realize boys/men need to be respectful and affectionate to their female counterparts. While @ the same time, have a balanced relationship and recognize when they're simply being taken advantage of. --- From what you've said, i can't tell if she's the kind of girl that's using you and hanging around you for "the extra materialistic reasons" OR if "She is that 1 gem in a Trillion who is a perfect girl who looks for functional nice guy relationships". Your call, Decern wisely
