Correct. I should have been more cryptic, but I haven't got the head for it tonight. She's one of my Mum's Whippets which my Uncle adopted when my Mum died.

Whippets are pretty. I've not been around them but I have Greyhounds and I love them.

I could not believe it when I spotted that image, it would fool any of our friends, particularly the way he sits on the edge of our coffee table to remind us it is time for his food.
His name "freddy" was given to him by our son when he was 5 weeks old. We have had hi for about 9 years. We also owned his father who died a few months ago. He was 16 and was a short haired tabby His mother (our neighbors cat) was Persian black.

 

Give another hint like where the name came from.
