Your pictures are worth a thousand words!

In the hospitals you can still hear the shuffling feet or things being dropped by the nurses. Coughing children and even death in the air. When I look at them its a bit of sadness.

Now the gyms...they give me depression for some reason. The colors and the boards coming up...maybe because the people that ran the gym are now dead. The pool once made children happy now its sits an empty bowl of debris. Creepy yet understood. Time takes it toll on everything.

What type of camera do you use? The pics are so sharp and crisp. Good use of the sunlight and shadows too.

Oh and like everyone else...More Please!!!

Thank You, for such wonderful comments!

scratcho, I also did think this is true. However, I am not certain a person has been inside for much time, maybe years. In the kitchen, I found food and magazines with dates 2007 - to March, 2008. Food in old refrigerators was terrible, the smell, eurgh! )) I think this building is empty for 3-4 years, but I maybe also am wrong!

Part 3, and I will finish Part 4 with photographs of kitchen.

There's something very touching about all that beauty, decay and the fact that it's just there, with all the activity and human interaction that took place over the years gone. I still say someone must be coming in to clean and take care of the place. At least it looks that way, with no dust and all. More pictures--please.

    Good morning,

first rule: never ever open fridges. Besides the stench of hell you might even find a cut off head or your long missed brother in it ;).

Anyways, mind sharing your flickr (?) user id?

    Regards
    Gyro

If those beautiful abandoned buildings were here, they'd soon be stripped of anything that could be carried off and the place would be filled with meth heads.

Unfortunately, no photographs. ( However today, my friend sent to me this e-mail. This is camera video of an abandoned, underwater village in Wales, United Kingdom. Definitely this is worth the short time to watch!

The end is my favorite part! )) Enjoy!

    Amazing pictures!!!

When I was a kid my dad would take me exploring to many Ghost Towns and mining camps in Colorado. Most are from the 1800s.

    Update! ))

As some people know, I am traveling again. Recent I traveled 3 hours from Burgas, Bulgaria on bus to Kazanlak, to meet with 2 friends Tomas and Radislav. They said to me they would take me to mountain ruins 30 km from Kazanlak, but did not promise we could get into the building. I was very fortunate to find the access. )

Because of the mountain, you will see fog was terrible, and I was not happy with photographs. I have never struggled this way to make photographs and became very frustrated.

I will post photographs in 3-4 parts as normal. Okay, I hope you like them! :)

    Bottom of mountain

I could see abandoned ruins half way in the mountain

At top of the mountain, the fog was very bad

And finally, inside! ) The light and dark contrast, also very thick fog made photographs so difficult. I have tried much to correct the balance, but I am not happy with the noise.

Light was better in the second floor, so we can see the detail of the mosaics.

Last, I wanted to see the stain glass stars in the tower. The elevator did not work (ha-ha), so we climbed up 13 levels.
