According to the BBC . There is just a difference of 5 million . Manchester want 5 million more than the Government are offering to keep businesses mothballed so there is something to go back to .In these type of terms this is small potatoes .

I am all for that one.
Over the last 6 months, people have been ignoring the early signs of cancer. This could have devastating long term affects.

While hospitals are busy as a result of covid, specialist consultants and cancer units are sitting drinking tea,
The government simply have no idea how specialist hospitals work. Unfortunately, their attempts to rectify the situation is hampered by their own restrictions.
These clinics ARE working, I just arranged a consultant appointment within 48 hours.

Regarding the reporting of your neighbors, it is even worse.
The idea was to prevent people BLATANTLY ignoring the rules and holding large mixed gatherings. In reality, a few people are peering through letterboxes, while others are afraid to report major transgressions for fear of retributions.

Last week, the government said that the perfect storm is brewing.
To me, the only thing that is brewing is another perfect f***up.

A lot of the stuff up our end has stopped and things like dermatology (skin problems) are often the first port of call before a cancer specialist, so it is a little bit concerning, a lot of GP's a while back had a good idea if something is malignant or not, now a lot haven't and they get told to send patients to another consultant and let them send them to a cancer specialist.

The TOTAL mortality rate for 2020 (UK) is running 2.7% above the average over the last five years. By the end of 2020, it will probably be down to about 1.5% annual average.
This is quite a normal annual rise ANY year that has a serious flue outbreak.

All the stupid graphs and figures on covid take no account of normal mortality figures, making them worthless on their own.

This whole state of disorganization simply makes me sick. I have caught several administrators making up the rules for themselves.
While surgery during ANY flue epidemic carries additional risks. TESTING DOES NOT.
In the past, risks were often ignored. Today everyone seems to be wearing 3 belts and 2 braces simply to keep their pants up.

The trouble with any information is that, with a little bit of careful thinking it can be manipulated to 'prove' anything you want, take the increased covid numbers, yes I could use the figures to prove the infection rate is rising, which isn't very good, but I could also use the figures to prove that the level of testing has increased, good, I could also use them to 'prove' several other things, for example during the lockdown it was noticed that air pollution fell quite dramatically due to a decrease in people using motor vehicles. No doubt at some point in the future this will be twisted around to 'prove' that while covid did kill people it was good for the environment!
It isn't just this it's everything, the government employ people who are experts at making figures show what they want them to show, remember when they did away with tax discs on cars, there was a big fanfare at the time, it had saved something like £5 million a year in administration and printing costs, the people who came up with the idea were all congratulating themselves on how clever they were. Later on someone else got hold of the figures and used them to prove it had actually COST the government something like £20 million a year from people not taxing their cars!
Whatever you are working with a clever person can make bad figures look good and good figures look bad, it depends on what you want to prove.

What people are failing to grasp is due to their lack of knowledge of death. It is a nasty subject, particularly when it is close to home, so the lack of detailed knowledge hardly surprises me.
    Put simply.
During the last 72 hours of 95% of human life, a virus, followed by bacterial action finally shuts the body down. If you have ever been close to anyone during their final hours, you will know that this is true. It can also happen following an accident, surgery or a heart attack. It is at it's worse when a patient has got vomit into their lungs at some stage, which is why the recovery position following an accident is so vital.

In the past, the 750 daily deaths following a struggle with cancer were recorded as a cancer death, with the final days being ignored, but today, when the virus is covid, it is recorded on the death certificate.
During ANY flue period, their lives will be cut short, but in most cases it is only by days, weeks or months.

Does this help you to understand the apparent difference in the picture being painted by the corona 19 figures and the TOTAL mortality increase of 2.7%

I am not trying to play down the seriousness of the corona virus mutation from animals, but the scaremongering is unnecessary and causing a lot of panic.

The Government do want to scare people at end of the day. Scared people are more manipulative when it comes to restrictions and enforcement of. .

What they are failing to look at is the affects on peoples mental health of all these restrictions are having ,resulting in some extreme cases suicide .

Governments are crazy at times. My best example was calculating the number of additional power-stations needed to cope with electric cars. They payed a company more than 2 million to get the answer wrong and totally ignored upgrading the entire national grid to cope with the current.
It took me 45 minutes to do my (now proven correct) calculations. I simply looked at the total UK forecourt fuel sales and converted it into megawatts.

That is not entirely true. It is the civil service departments who are tasked with this type of work and they are not party political.

To a large extent, the same is true of covid. Anyone with more than 2 brain cells should have realized that a tracking system cannot run on social networking systems.
The civil service work entirely on staff that are selected for their ability to lick asses and never think of thinking for themselves at all. This is far from new, as you can see from my video which caused a huge uproar following it's opening.

Some years ago, I worked on a civil service contract and dared to correct some of the errors in NHS paperwork. They were so grateful that they promptly kicked me out.

Because you didn't go to the 'right' school or 'right' university nor wear the 'right' tie !!! The civil service, particularly the higher echelons of it are very cliqueish.

My late mother was a civil servant and she played them at their own game for 25 years.
She told me that I would not last 5 minutes, but I made it to 8 weeks. :):):)
