You all think that now you have hit an age of a wopping 19\17 years that you now know more than most, including those kids just a few years younger. this is BULLSHIT.

You dont know anything until your dead. There is always a a BIG lesson to learn thruout your age.

I had a college student who was being a bitch to me. Instead of calling her a bitch i searched for a better word. I called her pernicious. because of my age, She thought I was trying to sound smart by making up a word. She doubted that that word was real I then in turn Called her a bitch.

So I will now call you a dick.

That post count thing wouldn't work, because all the annoying young people would just keep posting annoying posts until they get to the 500 or whatever. You would either have to single out all the annoying people and not let them in the elite forum, or you'd have to realize that it's a public forum and it'll happen no matter what.

haha I wouldent want to single out anyone. Those kids...they'll mature and maybe even become a bit insightful, but i also get where your coming from they can be a bit awkward. And as for maturity, ignorence is bliss so what im trying to say here is if someones doing or saying someting a bit odd, just take it in with an open mind. because thats all you can really do. Oh yeah, and the posts on here lately havent been very interesting but i guess that would tie itself right onto the youngins.

500 stupid posts maybe... but where do all the advances in technology come from, where do all the million $ ideas come from.... ?!?! they come from the youth of today... witch may be uninformed, but those are the people that will influence the future!!! I admit, I look at these people and think the same things... they dont know what there talking about and have rediculouse ideas, but they will one day make them work and retire from it!!!

I think a forum for older members would be pretty bad ass, we already have like 6 subforums for the marijuana section, another one wouldn't hurt, maybe aside from a certain amount of posts you'd also need to have been a member for a certain amount of time, like a year at least.

 

first of all, weve got to remember that were all posting on a marijuana forum on a "hippy" website. There are more legit forums out there.

 

Why don't you teach the younger kids by example instead of rejecting them all together?

I do agree that the MJ forum is kinda lame lately. I'm not sure if it has to do with the number of "young people" though. I don't post a lot anymore. Not like I used to.

And I also thought it was hilarious that people didn't get the last part of the post was a joke.

i'm stuck on the issue, cuz lately i've been reading a lot of posts/threads that i consider silly and dumb---to an extent.

but, what was i like at that age? we can't blame anybody for acting their age. and there should not be age limits to free public forums. i don't see a solution to the problem, except developing a more open mind.

my only beef with this issue is that when i come here, there are so many thread/posts to read that i feel overwhelmed. and it's just that, well, i want to read them, ....marijuana is an interesting topic and not everybody i know in real life likes to discuss it like mj hipforumers. but a lot of the posts end up being stupid and silly, which is okay, but i'll just stop reading the threads and posts real quickly after that..
