I’ve read your blogs and posts and think it’s hot that you do what you want when you want whenever you want and if people call you that name then screw them you only live once

 

OK--I'm glad that I'm old. Otherwise I'd be rotting in a grave.

 

The important thing is to enjoy life and at least occasionally help someone in need. Other people's judgements are usually 'all over the map', so it's pointless to take their statements seriously.

I'm still waiting for the Secret Decoder ring I ordered long ago, with 25 cents and a cereal box top. It was sent to PO Box 404, Tijuana,MX.

One of the better parts of being retired is having LOTS of time for hobbies, except for the full-time job of being a husband.

 

Well, as long as you still enjoy each other's company and have enough for conversation that should do for retirement. Oh and the sex. Lots of it.. Makes everything worthwhile....

 

Another support vote. I'm 84 and can hardly believe it. As far as I know there's nothing catastrophic going on inside me, knock wood. I've seen dementia up close and do my best to exercise my brain by messing with a couple of foreign languages. Since I'm a readaholic anyway I memorize various snippets here and there. Goes without saying that I want to hang on to whatever sexuality I can still muster, which I do with maybe a couple of orgasms a week. I've definitely noticed more and more aches and pains, and it takes longer to recover from physical activities than it used to. My skin isn't as pretty as it used to be either.
