One of its biggest advantages is that it is constantly available. The constant flow of heat from the Earth ensures an inexhaustible and essentially limitless supply of energy for billions of years to come.
The National Energy Policy Act of 1992 (Sec. 1202) and the Pacific Northwest Electric Power Planning and Conservation Act of 1980 (Sec. 12H, 839a(16), page 84) both define geothermal energy as a renewable resource.

The uses of geothermal for heat and other purposes were indigenous practices across a variety of world cultures: “The Maoris in New Zealand and Native Americans used water from hot springs for cooking and medicinal purposes for thousands of years. Ancient Greeks and Romans had geothermal heated spas. The people of Pompeii, living too close to Mount Vesuvius, tapped hot water from the earth to heat their buildings. Romans used geothermal waters for treating eye and skin disease. The Japanese have enjoyed geothermal spas for centuries.”

A viable geothermal system requires heat, permeability, and water. Developers explore a geothermal reservoir to test its potential for development by drilling and testing temperatures and flow rates.

Biomass is organic material that comes from plants and animals, and it is a renewable source of energy.

Biomass contains stored energy from the sun. Plants absorb the sun's energy in a process called photosynthesis. When biomass is burned, the chemical energy in biomass is released as heat. Biomass can be burned directly or converted to liquid biofuels or biogas that can be burned as fuels.

Examples of biomass and their uses for energy:

Wood and wood processing wastes—burned to heat buildings, to produce process heat in industry, and to generate electricity

Agricultural crops and waste materials—burned as a fuel or converted to liquid biofuels

Food, yard, and wood waste in garbage—burned to generate electricity in power plants or converted to biogas in landfills

Animal manure and human sewage—converted to biogas, which can be burned as a fuel

Converting biomass to energy
Solid biomass, such as wood and garbage, can be burned directly to produce heat. Biomass can also be converted into a gas called biogasor into liquid biofuels such as ethanol and biodiesel. These fuels can then be burned for energy.

Biogas forms when paper, food scraps, and yard waste decompose in landfills, and it can be produced by processing sewage and animal manure in special vessels called digesters.

Ethanol is made from crops such as corn and sugar cane that are fermented to produce fuel ethanol for use in vehicles. Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils and animal fats and can be used in vehicles and as heating oil.

How much biomass is used for fuel?
Biomass fuels provided about 5% of total primary energy use in the United States in 2017. Of that 5%, about 47% was from biofuels (mainly ethanol), 44% was from wood and wood-derived biomass, and 10% was from the biomass in municipal waste. (Sum of percentages is greater than 100% because of independent rounding) Researchers are trying to develop ways to use more biomass for fuel.

What it was was a joke--a sick, tasteless one, by a state legislator--responding to actual sick legislation by Alabama and other red states requiring women to carry and bear the children of their rapists and incestuous relatives. Your comment is another illustration of the fallacy of over-generalization.

Women are more likely to be liberal and vote liberal (i dont know the exact stats, it might not be by a significant margin)

But there's also a weird phenomenon that has been true since women were first awarded the right to vote. It was expected that women would exercise their right to vote by voting for issues important to women, but they mostly voted for what their husbands voted for. And that has held true even into the modern era

How does one vote for womens issues if we only ever have 2 choices when it comes to elections

Which party is going to manage the economy better, create jobs, lower taxes; thus improve the standard of living of their kids is a womens issue, and the main issue for women since women voting began

By the end of the twentieth century, women in the United States had begun to dominate in regard to numbers at the voting booth. Women now make up the majority (51.8 percent) of Americans eligible to vote. Women (63.5 percent) are also more likely to register to vote than are men (60.6 percent). Since 1980, women (61 percent in 2008) have been more likely than men (56 percent in 2008) to exercise their right by going to the ballot box. In 2008, 9.7 million more women voted than men in national elections in the United States (Center for American Women in Politics [CAWP] 2011).
Table 10-1 shows the voter turnout by gender and race ethnicity in the 2008 American presidential elections. The table indicates that black women were most likely to vote and that Asian American women were least likely. Among black, white, and Hispanic Americans, women were much more likely to vote than were men. Asian American men were slightly more likely to vote than Asian American women (Lopez and Taylor 2009).
Besides voting, how do women and men differ in their political activities? Since 1952, the American National Election Studies (ANES) has kept track of political behavior. They (Nagy and Rich 2001) found the following:
• Women are more likely to show up to vote. • Women are about as likely as men to work for a candidate or party, attend a politi-
cal meeting, or wear a button or display a sticker or sign. • Men are still more likely than women to discuss politics, talk to others to try to
convince them to support a candidate, and donate money. The differences are small, however, and the difference in donating money may be a result of who is
asked to donate to political campaigns. Men report donating money more often than do women. They also report being asked in person, by phone, and by mail more often to make a donation. Perhaps men are not more likely to contribute money to a candidate; they are just more likely to be given the opportunity to make a donation (Conway, Steuernagel, and Ahern 1997).

Women and men also differ in regard to whom they vote for. The gender gap refers to the difference between women and men in their choice of candidates and in their opinions on political issues. This term came into use during the 1980s when observers began to notice that women were more likely to vote for more-liberal candidates and referenda than were men (Bourque 2001).
The gap between women and men grew during the 1990s. Women’s voting behavior remained fairly stable through the 1980s and 1990s, but men shifted their loyalties away from the Democrats and toward the Republicans during those decades (Seltzer, Newman, and Leighton 1997). By the 2000 election, the gap in voting between women and men was 11 percent. In the 2000 presidential election, men favored George W. Bush by 53 percent to 42 percent, and women favored Al Gore by 54 percent to 43 percent (Connelly 2000). In 2004 the gap narrowed, but women were still more likely to vote for John Kerry than for Bush. Race ethnicity also made an important difference. Fifty-five percent of white women and 62 percent of white men voted for Bush; but among nonwhite voters, only 24 percent of women and 30 percent of men voted for Bush. In 2008, a 7 percent gap remained between men and women voters, as 49 percent of men favored Barack Obama over John McCain, compared to 56 percent of women who favored Obama (CAWP 2008). And the gap expanded again in 2012 when 56 percent of women voted for Obama and 54 percent of men voted for Mitt Romney (J. Jones 2012).
The gender gap indicates differences in the way the majority of men and the majority of women vote, and sometimes the gap makes a difference in who gets into office. These differ- ences are not just ideological, but relate to the different responsibilities and problems women and men have in their everyday lives. Opinion polls and surveys of voting choices show that, compared to men, women are:
• more likely to favor a more activist role for government; • more supportive of programs to guarantee health care and basic social services; • more supportive of restrictions on firearms; • more supportive of same-sex marriage; and • more likely to favor legal abortion without restrictions. (CAWP 2012)
The positions favored by women voters are more consistent with goals of the Democratic Party. The Republican Party has become identified with opposing those programs that benefit women more than men and that are favored by women voters, such as Medicaid, Social Security, parental leave, and nutritional programs for women and children. The Democratic Party more frequently endorses policies that women are more likely than men to approve of, such as gun control, environmental protection, and government support of health care, education, and job training (Rothman 2002).
