im not sure what your argument is here brah. are you saying that local beers aren't good because they aren't popular? aaaaannnnnddd your statement about the difference between good and bad beer is way off. the gap between crappy industrial lagers and quality beer is about as different as steak vs mcdonalds burger. that was my point
crappy industrial... Hmmmmm. I guess enough people thought it was good enough to become such a big seller... And yes, I am saying that if a beer is good it wont be hard to find at the right liquor store. I run into guys like you all the time that swear they found gold, and ask me to try the "best beer ever". Then I drink it and it sucks... Every time. My rational behind that is if its good, more people would drink it. A good example is Montana's moose drool. It can be bought anywhere because why? Enough people like it. But we are arguing over opinion here. In my life though, you can't help but to understand why I would think that way.
what are you talking about? i think you have me confused with somebody else. i get good beer from califoria here in texas. it's especially good when fresh. (less than 3 months old in most cases). i'm sorry you don't have a good palate for beer, not my problem. try expanding your horizons. it's a much better alternative to bitching about not liking good beer. and for the record, moose drool sucks. my local brown ale is much better if only because it's fresh. :afro:
