Admittedly, the title made me think this was going to be some outrageous ransom, by a lady who kidnapped someone else's kids. I guess in a way it sort of still is.

    I have no idea?

Kidnapped? No, her older children were removed from her care for the safety of the children, because she and her six children were living in a motor vehicle. Georgia's Division of Children and Family Services knew she was living in that vehicle because the mother called and told them so. If she had contacted a local housing agency or any number of private charities for help, instead of the agency charged with protecting children, or if the state had safe and available housing to offer her at the time, the state wouldn't have removed the children at all.

She was never reunited with those six children because she refused to cooperate with the state's case worker in any way. She later relinquished all parental rights to those children. She now admits that she exercised poor judgment in treating the case worker as an adversary and in refusing to cooperate in the very process that would have reunited her with her children.

She had two younger children born after this, and she lost custody of one of them temporarily, again for the child's safety, because of her admitted cocaine addiction. She has since been reunited with that child. Her youngest child has never been removed from her care.

Child support? No, reimbursement for the cost of foster care. The practice of seeking reimbursement from parents through a criminal proceeding is controversial, and counter-productive in most cases, but it is provided for under longstanding Georgia state law.

There was no kidnapping. The state acted legally in the interest of the safety of minor children.

    ita est, kidnapping.

But its hard to sympathize with either. Her and her coke bullsht is no better than the pervert using "adversary" as a weapon.

The thing is, georgia took someones kids against their will and charged them for it, like putting these people in profit prison against their will and trying to bill them. When the State presumes to take someone's life or property, the expense is on them. The corruption problem has them writing whatever self serving extortion they want to a calling it "legal" when it would be illegal for anybody else.

and thats just my position. I have no quarter for child services, its unaccountable pervs trading in kids whatever good they might do. Pray my kids are never anywhere near a govt empowered perv.

By hiring them intentionally. Plus any employment fad or law the govt makes, it actually does and uses discrimination freely to put in certain kinds of soulless asshole and dumb drone on purpose. Like when disney mocked and fired all the Americans and only hired flamboyant gays and the a couple years later, dumped the gays to put in immigrants and when the first people went to congress they were ignored, when the gays did, they let them cry about it so others could go "Ha!" and ignored it. Political hiring fads that financially benefit disney but are the definition of unfair and discriminatory are both govt and disney daily business.
Can't imagine how either would operate if they hired "good" people or ones trying "to do it right". They just want trolls that will do anything.

Kidnapping is a crime punishable under Federal law. And when did you report to the FBI this crime you insist happened? You didn't report it, because you know it wasn't a kidnapping.

There is no Federal statute of limitations on kidnapping. Unless you're merely the online version of hot air, report it today. You can easily find contact information for the local FBI office in Georgia with jurisdiction.

This reminds me of a situation where I lost social security.

I was disabled before age 18 and had a special circumstance with the social security administration as a result.

From disability I attempted to return to work using a trial period from which they offer continued benefits while you work so you can determine if you're able.

I was not, and I returned to social security but they changed my benefit based on the trial period.

And my retirement benefit changed by hundreds! But it isn't something I would receive until later in life. The literal numbers were staggering! They were taking away $$$$$ hundreds! But I wouldn't have encountered it until later in my life.

They were hoping to lower my benefit by hundreds since I had a work history after 18 now that the trial period was established.

They said I would be getting more money using my history, but that isn't true in 20 years when I would get hundreds of dollars less.
