I'll never understand why the American christians like the guy so much, it truely baffles me. He is a piss poor example for the religion. He uses his beliefs as nothing more than a tool for power and gain, and that is one of the only things in the bible that Christ get's really pissed off and aggressive about.

I'm thinking about the greedy preists in the temple using people's religious beliefs for their own personal gain. Christ went in there like a zealot tipping over their tables and drove them out.

Maybe it is about time christians took back control of their religion and tossed the users and abusers out, like christ did at the temple. Toss the Robertson's and the Falwells, toss the politicians that pander to their religious beliefs for political gain, toss the ministers pushing politics and the preists living wealthily off of church members tithes. Any religion will have the true respect of the world if it remains respectible. Stop fueling the fires of those who would rather see the christian religion disappear - for what they really want to see disappear is the hypocrisy, greed, intolerance, and corruption.

Anyway enough preaching from a secular member of society, I suppose

 

Christians let these piss-poor examples for their religion exist. Many even perpetuate them. And to those that do nothing, well silence is acceptance too. They let their loudest voices be the Falwells and Robertsons. That mistake is costing them the purity of their religion. Christians have sold-out.

Sera Michele, you're absolutely right. The Bible claims that the Anti-Christ will come claiming to be Christ, and perform miracles, deceiving a lot of people.
