    The last GS cookies I bought were from girls set up right next to the front door of my bank.

    That girl scout had to call for backup! She sold out 117 boxes in two hours there.

    Media everywhere carried this story. It was on CNN and local stations here in the bay area. It's GREAT! Girls scouts making money from pot smokers! Oh wait, they've been doin' that for a long, long time. Maybe they should open up shops next to dispensaries everywhere!

    Girl Scouts Banned From Selling Cookies Outside Of Pot Dispensaries In Colorado
    DENVER, CO -

    Selling cookies outside a marijuana dispensary seems like the perfect business operation. In fact, one girl scout in San Francisco sold over 100 cookies in two hours -- but Girl Scouts of Colorado are not allowing it!

    Marijuana is a legal substance, at least in Colorado, so the dispensaries are recognized as legitimate businesses, even by the Girl Scouts. However, the organization feels it is not an appropriate place for children to be selling cookies.

    Colorado troop leaders agree with the Girl Scouts Organization's opinion. One scout leader, Katherine Kneeland, said, "I don't think I would want my daughter to set up a booth in front of a dispensary."

    While the marijuana market is expanding, the Girl Scouts will be looking for business elsewhere. Other businesses that Girl Scouts have been banned from are bars, strip clubs, casinos, and liquor stores.
