    and youv also never seen a dog ruin a perfectly good wall. dogs are better.

    actually i have.

    it was an old dog who had a severe problem with fleas; we did everything possible to get rid of them but they always just came right back. anyway, he would lay up against the wall in the same spot every day; eventually that spot was a large blood smear.

    my cats are the opposite of independent. but they're so cute, cuddly and friendly.

    we're getting a puppy soon. they're gonna FREAK.

    i don't consider dogs very cuddly, though. too big, lanky and boney.

    Yeah Im always surprised by the lacking cuddle factor, even in little puppies. :( Its because Ive never had one.

    yeah, but they're off limits according to dave. they reduce his man factor, and they're still really boney.

    actually around here it's not terribly uncommon to see people walking cats on leashes. takes a little getting used to but it's there. and the cat I had growing up actually used to scare off neighboring dogs. and cats are generally much easier to sleep with... smaller and all.

    I have never had a playful cat unfortunately, or one that wanted to snuggle.
