Gelcaps and Dissolving- Help!

Over the past two months I've been experimenting with some red vein bali kratom in capsules form. Its great stuff, my first experience truly rivaled hydrocodone in every single way. Im only having two problems though, and both are with the capsules, not the kratom:

Problem #1- They dissolve at different times. Sometimes I'll be hit like a freight train, and some times I'll get a very long lasting buzz that is much weaker.

Problem #2- On average it takes around two and a half hours for me to feel the kratom working its magic.

Just because it might make a difference, i have zero opiate tolerance, have used opiates in the past but not within the last two or three years. My dosage is 20 capsules, which weighs 11.7g last time i emptied 20 of them, and I take all 20 capsules within 1 minute with water or coca-cola on an empty stomach and normally will eat about an hour after taking the kratom.


So, that's it, i know its a short thread. Any and all input is appreciated and welcome here! I'd love to know if there is a way to make these things dissolve faster.

 

Have you noticed a difference in the timing depending on whether you drink water or coke? Maybe the coke helps dissolve them faster?

 

Try to leave one end off the capsule or have it really loose or something that might help. I agree that kratom is really nice:2thumbsup:

You could try a tea...it hits pretty quickly.

 

could be due to stomach contents rather than the capsules.

and if you don't want to wait so long to feel it, i would not put it in capsules. or leave one end off like acek said.

 

I've tried Tea, and that's an interesting idea to mess with the gel caps. Wonder if I filled one end with a little bit of tissue or something.. Tea wasn't as bad as expected until i got some of the powder in my mouth (Guess cheesecloth is a poor filter), and that lead me to have an unpleasant first experience with tea because I gagged SO much.

I get the capsules instead of raw powder because my seller offers either powder or capsules, and the extra fee for capsules is very very small. Other than the clear issue I am having with capsules they have their ups and downs. Before I had a scale it was far easier to dose capsules than raw powder, as I knew how much kratom was in each capsule so I was never too far off from my intended dose. And you know, no bitter taste.
