That's awful news about Gecko. A metal rod in the leg is no fun for anyone.....hang in there Geck. We'll all send you positive thoughts!

 

I just got back from visting my dad at the hospital. He thanks all of you for your concern.

it looks like he's going to be there a while though, possibly until he can walk again.
I'll keep you posted on his condition .

i knew it!!! it's those damn fluorex's...EVERYTIME! if he had just have used more high pressure sodium none of this would have ever happened...oh i tried to warn him...oh how i tried....

well that sucks for geck, poor guy. i hope he's feeling better soon. my dad used to get in crashes on his bike all the time but he always turned out fine after a few weeks, im sure geck will be feeling better in no time.

just a little thought though...maybe sharing an address...on a public server...for a known pot grower, on this server...to people ya don't really know...may not be...such a great idea? flowers are a lovely thought im not denying that...but...i geuss i've always believed security should be your number one priority in this game...accident or no accident.

(of course im not trying to imply happyhahagirl ISNT trust worthy obviously if you know her then...)

 

They're totally safe. Now that I'm somebody's mom, I have a hard time being dishonest. I actally feel bad about it now, because I'm an example. It's a bitch.

So tomorrow my dad's being transferred to the rehabilitation ward (just down the hall from where he already is). I met his 2 physical therapists today, and I saw them help dad from the chair to the bed. He didn't have that hard of a time, and is making progress, so hopefully he won't be there to much longer.
