I agree fighting won't solve anything, but if nate lets this kid push him around, it will only get worse. From what I've heard, he seems like he would definently back down once he figures out that he might get his ass kicked. Plus, nate said that he would only fight back. Not start anything. That's the right way to go.

The only way to resolve this is for you to confront him alone, and ask him if he'd like to fight. Then if he does wind up jumping you after he pussed out you can make fun of him instead of the other way around, and then ambush him when he's alone.
