I attended San Francisco Pride barefoot. My soles got pretty filthy. Cool!

 

i used to go barefoot 24/7 but then realized it's really not practical to do everywhere especially when on the road, hopping trains,etc. i live in hawaii, so a good majority of the time is spent barefoot if not wearing 'slippers' (flip-flops)...but definitely need them here to hike thru the woods because of all the kiawe trees that are very common here - there branches are thorned and they are like stepping on barbed-wire

 

i am a gay male barefooter, i hate shoes, socks and any kind of footwear, when i'm not at work, i'm always barefoot.

I hate wearing regular footwear, but work doesn't allow bare feet, and winter can get a little too cold, so I end up having some sort of footwear on. That being said, my preferred shoes are FiveFingers shoes. About as close to barefoot as you can get without being barefoot.
