Gathering of the Vibes

It's not as prolific as last year, I think most acts are heading in for Mountain Jam this year and then heading out of the region on tour, but they've got a couple good ones. I definitely won't be missing Widespread Panic

Last year I got to see Max Creek, Blues Traveler, the John Butler Trio, and the Black Crowes all in a row, which was really awesome. It's a really great festival and really relaxed, despite being in the middle of Bridgeport, haha

Anyone else in the area planning to go?

i'm sure vibes would be great. but with it so close to peach fest, it's a hard choice. i might go for peach fest since it has bob weir, allmans, trey, tedeschi trucks band, lotus, big gigantic & govt mule. all of which are not playing at vibes.

august is still so far away though. many festivals to attend before then.

...do you mean Mountain Jam by any chance? Never been to that one, I desperately want to though, for all those reasons as well, haha, but my schedule doesn't allow that one

Oh, derp, I thought that was farther south than it is... haha. I dunno, I think that's another "someday" for me, maybe in a year or three
