The "strange creek " fest memorial day weekend is got under covers just after dark walkin around the woods. They don't do this all weekend though.(in past anyway)Be careful all.
that's such shit, they don't have undercover cops. and even if they do it's to investigate the whole nitrous situation because of last year. If you're not selling balloons, your fine, the bridgeport police are NOT going to be wasting time on small busts for personal use of hard drugs when the mafia is out and about selling nitrous.
someone died there last year and he either A) got killed by the nitrous mafia (bikers or some shit that sell nitrous and don't like if anyone else does) or B) did too many drugs, got dehydrated and died of some non violent causes. i wasn't there.
yeah I'm not completely positive it was them, but my friends witnessed a guy who was selling tank get fucked up by the mafia for taking their business. they basically are at the majority of large concerts and festivals on the east coast, running the entire nitrous scene in the lots and campgrounds and for anyone who tries to take their business or fuck with em in any way they don't fuck around
Why? Everyone knows how easy it is already. Like how everyone knows how easy it is to find a prostitute. Talking about these things online has no effect.
LOL drug gangs bro anyway, i walked last year right down the road with a J in my hand, tripping face and no one said anything. The cops didn't seem to care, unless you were selling something.
you dont know what youre talking about. online talk about festivals and drugs has definitely brought more attention to the scene. its not like this thread alone is gonna make a difference, but all the threads on several different websites collectively bring more negative attention to festivals. its only a matter of time until festivals are gonna be raided by feds even more than they are now, completely ruining the freedom that we all enjoy at these music festivals.
why promote this???????? stop running your mouth dude. why would you jepordize this freedom??............stupid.
GOTV is now my big event for the summer. This will be my fourth year...so I'm kind of new to it, but it is always an amazing time. Like they say on the website, just be respectful and you'll be okay. Don't take anything completely in the open and hide stuff reasonably well when going through the gate. Nothing big, just don't have everything out in the open. Don't bring any glass bottles or fireworks. Last year there was more sketch than the years before...maybe they will do a better job of keeping locals from sneaking in and trying to score/ripoff/mug. The news on the guy who died kind of faded. I'm not sure if they ever published his tox results. It seems like a lot of rumor but who knows. Either way, don't mess with the nitrous guys. It's an ugly scene in nitrous alley with all the balloons and stumbling people around. Sure nitrous can be fun...but it's ugly. My biggest fear is ending up in a bad area to camp...like nitrous alley...but every other year I've been really lucky, met a bunch of incredible people, heard a lot of great music, and had a awesome time!! If you can take a bike. I did last year and was sooooo glad I did. I spent a while deciding and almost didn't. When I was there I was sooo happy I had it. Be ready for super incredibly intense rain. The last two years in particular had insane amounts of rain, with some times very very heavy. Just a few weeks ago a couple fishermen or something got struck by lightening at the park they have it at. Take the tarp off your top gazebo when it's pouring!!!! if you don't it will get filled with water and crumble into a twisted pile of metal. People get busted, but mostly for things like stealing a bike (like a young guy with some people I met tried doing and ended up in the hospital because he got tackled pretty hard by security.) Who is that Molly chick anyway???
