Once upon a time, and a very good time it was, there was a German barefooter named Andreas Spring ("Ganesha"). He posted here for several years about his barefoot lifestyle and other aspects of his alternate style. He was friendly, funny, and...then he totally disappeared. Poof! Some years ago, someone here raised the question what might have happened to him. I just found someone on Facebook fitting his description, and having the same name. Either He has been resurrected, or someone has gone to some trouble to assume his identity, down to biographical details. I've written to him but have yet to receive a reply. Further developments as they...develop. Curiouser and curiouser!
Not so difficult to find out that he died in 2014 at the age of 47, as the death announcement in the regional newspaper is still online. RIP!
I remember him. His custom title was "belly bearer" if I recall that right. He was a groovy dude. Huge loss
