Plasma oscillations propel breakthroughs in fusion energy (phys.org)

This is one of those "Duh!" discoveries that should have been made a hundred years ago. Researchers have even managed to use predator-prey statistics to describe plasma physics, but nobody ever thought to pump an oscillating signal into it, and see what happens. It means all the equations for turbulence will have to be rewritten, but it also means turbulence expresses the Two Faces of Janus, and it provides another way to reformulate Chaos Theory and networking systems logics, to describe self-organizing systems. Fusion energy, could require a self-organizing system to maintain in the most efficient manner.

A little like AC power, no?
Get those oscillations right and it will suddenly stabilize and provide enough power to charge a single LED. Can't wait....until next century when they may finally create unlimited power when there's nothing left to power up....

Teleportation is the future. Just ask electrons.

Sorry, but Matter Teleportation, of Humans specifically, is quite unlikely. We are too complex and there is no guarantee that we would come out the other side as a functioning entity.
Paul Reber, professor of psychology at Northwestern University, postulated that it would likely take roughly 2.5 Petabytes to store one single human being.
This would also store any defects or congenital diseases the human was carrying at the time.
It may be another 400 years before Scotty can Beam us Up.

Teleporting energy and information into orbit is already a reality. There's no reason the electric company can't teleport electricity to your fridge. However, electricity is actually a poor choice of power supplies for even a fridge. Acoustic Thermal power supplies are already proving its possible to harness endless power out of even ambient air temperature. India has created the first thermal Maxwell's Demon, and I'm paying close attention to the quantum Hall Effect.

Well, now I was pretty sure I specified that "Matter Teleportation of Humans" would be unlikely.
I am fully aware of RF and Microwave transmissions, within Earth's atmosphere and to and from space based platforms. But the Electric Company trying to supply your refrigerator with A/C Power through open air would end up electrocuting anyone within line of site of the beam.

THey called Tesla Mad for wanting to try exactly that. Wardenclyffe never go final funding and was abandon. FOr years people called it Tesla's Death Ray. Tesla was brilliant, but in his endeavors there were things he overlooked.

Tesla was merely an artistic engineer, who had no clue what was coming. Teleporting energy through the air, it doesn't go through the air, but takes a shortcut, straight to its destination. Using Maxwell's Demons, you can pump all the hot and cool air you want into the Empire State Building, without ever requiring the use of energy.

Modern physics is being censored by the Tea Party.

For those who do not know what Maxwell's Demon is, here is an explanation from Wikipedia:

Maxwell's demon is a thought experiment that appears to disprove the second law of thermodynamics. It was proposed by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell in 1867.[1] In his first letter, Maxwell referred to the entity as a "finite being" or a "being who can play a game of skill with the molecules". Lord Kelvin would later call it a "demon".[2]

In the thought experiment, a demon controls a door between two chambers containing gas. As individual gas molecules (or atoms) approach the door, the demon quickly opens and closes the door to allow only fast-moving molecules to pass through in one direction, and only slow-moving molecules to pass through in the other. Because the kinetic temperature of a gas depends on the velocities of its constituent molecules, the demon's actions cause one chamber to warm up and the other to cool down. This would decrease the total entropy of the system, seemingly without applying any work, thereby violating the second law of thermodynamics.

    I like the diagram:

    The TEA PARTY???

I think you need to wake up and realize they are history, there's a new crowd in town far more radical than those old memes.

A strong majority of both parties, apply their morality to everyone else, but seldom to themselves, and a quarter of them still insist the sun revolves around the earth. It just doesn't get more radical then idiots who can't even use a dictionary. Their crap just keeps getting smellier by the day, and nobody can eliminate the smell of self-contempt and loathing. Theoretically, we only have the republican party, but its led by the Tea Party, who claim to be secular, when their members are all fundamentalists. I would blame religion, but these people are a disgrace to every religion out there, with the highest rates of child abuse, rape, divorce, alcoholism, sexism, racism, and even suicide.

You don't bother to categorize, box, and label a pile of crap on your lawn. They're not in charge of anything, and are about to find out the price of congenital insanity.

Didn't a group of Physicists at University of Augsburg determine that the Demon is only viable in a Nano-Scale environment?

By 2016, Politico noted that the Tea Party movement had died; however, the article noted that the movement had died in part because some of its ideas had been absorbed by the mainstream Republican Party.

CNBC reported in 2019 that the conservative wing of the Republican Party "has basically shed the tea party moniker."

That was Maxwell's original definition. A Demon sorts individual molecules. The burning question remaining, is how do self-organizing systems work.

In other words, they have no idea how to make it function in real world scenarios.

Ok, Look, Stop Oil Now ... Whether you believe it or not, There is no way to completely stop the use of Petroleum & Fossil Fuel products in our society.
Every useful device, or item we rely on in our day to day life is dependent on those compounds. Including just about everything in your home from the insulation in your walls to the devices you use to cook your food and brew your coffee, to the clothes you wear, the glasses on your face (if you wear them or even the contacts) to your boxers/briefs/speedos/etc. to the Computer/iPhone/iPad/Tablet/Etc. that you log in to this forum on, uses Petroleum based products.
Regardless of what you think the "Oil Companies" Are or Are Not doing, ranting about getting rid of them is a useless endeavor.

Sun Tzu: If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.

Realize that your enemy, (The dreaded Oil Companies) are in power because YOU gave them that power. We all did. We accepted the fruit of their efforts and we deified them for it. You can't damn them if you still support them in everyday life, and trust me, I don't need to know you to know that you do. If you eat, drink, piss, crap, dress yourself, work, drive, take a bus, uber or even ride a bicycle, you actively support them.

The fault is not in the stars dear Brutis, but in ourselves. I'm blaming the oil companies, not oil.

If you ever had to walk through oily tar blobs on your favorite beach you'd be blaming oil.

Which Oil Company? There are an estimated 9,000 independent oil companies in the US alone. And do you suggest that these "Companies" have nothing to do with Individual Citizens? Do yo suppose that perhaps they run themselves, or that the Executive Suits do all the work, or they make decrys from on high and it is magically done?

There are many more individual souls laboring within those hug conglomerates that also rely on the functionality of the "Oil COmpany." Not because they love oil, not because they want to participate in any long term deception, but because they want to proved for themselves and their families. Because a paycheck means they buy another weeks worth of groceries.

Conspiracy theorists and activists love to demonize the large corporations, but they ignore the human factor and what it would mean to suddenly have tens of thousands of people, suddenly out of work and on the streets. "Do something about homelessness!" they shout. "Too many people rely on Government assistance!" Well, they wouldn't need to if the companies they worked for weren't continually fighting to stay afloat by laying people off due to new and probably unneeded regulations that make it more difficult to operate.

I'm not saying oversight isn't needed, but when you put in place laws that force people out of work, then you'd better be prepared to oue and feed those you force out.
