When the kids were younger I was always trying to find fun fairly healthy ways for them to enjoy the holidays. Here are a few ideas for those who have little people. View attachment 1336 View attachment 1337
I am pleased to let you know that such a thing does exists. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92PAV2fBed8 Poor bunny!!
i was actually there. not that particular house, but another one like it, sometime in the 1980s. it was an s.c.a. household somewhere in the wilds of portland oregon. or barrony of three mountains as it was known in context at the time.
This is the Easter Thread here, right? I am making an Easter basket for my neighbors filled with all kinds of things like a little yellow brand new Steiff chickie...little mohair lamb.....and I made this necklace for my neighbor last night. Her favorite color is purple, so that is the predominat color here. I loved the raised beads....called wedding cake beads....as the flowers and designs on them are raised and then painted, and using real gold on these, as well.......not just painted on......I make easy over the head necklaces....as who likes to fuss with clasps that wind up breaking...not me.....The white wedding cake beads in this are in the shape of eggs...... She will love this...i know....as my neighbor is very elegant..... i am always disappointed with photos of beadwork...as photos never do them justice......the way light plays with them, etc....
I finished making the Easter basket. It is very beautiful......It also contained a miniature book called the Velveteen rabbit....a miniature book of touch and feel fuzzy rabbits for the little girl there.....a madame Alexander Easter doll.....white with yellow polka dots bangle bracelet...wooden rabbits...glittery decoration eggs....some other little toys for the little girl.....and stuff like that.....I was so happy with the way the basket turned out. I love doing things like that for people......custom tailored just for them.....
