    - Full Corn Moon or Full Harvest Moon – September This full moon’s name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn was supposed to be harvested. Most often, the September full moon is actually the Harvest Moon, which is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but in some years it occurs in October. At the peak of harvest, farmers can work late into the night by the light of this Moon. Usually the full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the Moon seems to rise at nearly the same time each night: just 25 to 30 minutes later across the U.S., and only 10 to 20 minutes later for much of Canada and Europe. Corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice the chief Indian staples are now ready for gathering.

Yep. I went outside a little while ago and there it was, hanging high above the shopping plaza (the one with the movie theater in it).

I remarked out loud (yes, I talk out loud to myself in public) how interesting it is that a full Moon less than 24 hours old is already visibly less than full. I could see the very slightest bit, on the right side, off just a little. Very bright though. And super pretty. :)

You know, I haven't even looked at the moon yet. I wonder if it's still there, waiting for me to notice it...

Really expecting the baby either tonight or tomorrow as I believe the days surrounding the full moon are more likely....

    But shall see...

    Thanks. :)

Oh yea... you said something like the....7th, right? I'm actually surprised I've made it this far as Cason was born what would have been 6 days ago. Guess every baby is different though.

Can't imagine it's gonna be much longer though. Lots of feelings now like it's literally any time now-very soon.
