IIRC, starbucks was giving out free coffee on the day of the Presidential election in 2008 and got into some legal trouble for that. But, many of the local and national TV stations were mentioning starbucks over and over that day about the free coffee (and in later days about the scandal that ensued), so they got some great advertising out of it.

Right now I'm drinking (GF) international suisse mocha instant coffee.

I bought it at stop n' shop and it tastes pretty good

If the employees at stop n' shop don't go on strike I'll pick-up some more on the way home - otherwise I'm not going to cross their picket line just for coffee
