AP Lang. and AP Lit were pretty similar to my english 202 class. and i learned enough in ap psych for me to take a second-tier psych course without having to take 101 and still do well. But I would say that overall college is much more difficult than anything I had to deal with in highschool.
Well that works I expected it to be harder just wanted to know that my AP courses weren't completely off base and a total waste of time.
Are you asking whether or not high school anything is a waste of time? I think I've got an answer for that...
Well I can take off one or two summers.I forgot which one it is.They just want us here and out asap lmao....and pay a shit load as well.wooooot
I would have to disagree, my AP classes actually taught me a lot. My other classes, sure they were pretty pointless. The AP classes had a lot of substance though and were all about stuffing students with as much information as possible.
My AP classes tried to stuff us with info too, and it was incredibly lame. Generally speaking, highschools (public high schools) are not built to see the greatest minds...unfortunately.
Yeah that sucks my catholic school was all about making AP as challenging as possible haha, I kind of laughed because it was still easily manageable, well at least for me. AP Chemistry was the shit, however I don't think I did that great on the exam lol.
Fortunately, my high school was definitely one of the best public schools in the northland area...it is the only International Baccalaureate school in KC and for a long ways around too...heavy on the education. I went to two high schools though, the other is probably the other most qualified in the area, but it still wasn't great. I was able to sit in classrooms all throughout high school, barely paying attention and I'd ace the tests cause I learned the shit back in middle school. Those were all the required sciences and shit though - which comes easy to me anyways, plus my middle school science teacher was probably the best teacher I've ever had in my life.
Advanced Placement. Essentially it is a class that builds up to a test at the end of the year. The score you receive on the test determines if you get college credits for taking the class, allowing you to skip introductory college level courses in certain subjects.
Ohhh. I see. When I skipped grades here, all I had to do was take the exam and forget about taking the actual course. Cool though.
Only special schools around here allow you to skip grades, I wish I could have because I would be done with high school already and be on my collegiate journey to becoming an orthodontist.
I am very excited for my time off of school. I'll always have a chance to go back im sure but right now i just wanna get a job and get my own place. i dont think school is right for me. plus bein in debt sucks!
My school is gonna cost me...I think like 70grand... arty: I don't know how much artistic chemists make or what they do, but...that loan can suck on mah bawlz
Actually I'm happy that never happened. If it did I probably never would have gotten into marijuana and drugs. I can thank my mind expansion to transferring from parochial school to public school at the end of 6th grade. Sadly I had to move back to parochial school after getting suspended freshman year.
