Patriarchal God to worship though.I grant you that Islam has created some beautiful things but I think they just take it far to seriously.It's like some kind of mono-fascism that really needs less attention paid to.I cannot conceive of the violence and intolerance what these little jumped up Jihadists want to create.Most of the time I just am glad they are far far away from me.I have had many Muslim friends over the years because I grew up in a multicultural area.They can be very nice people but I'm beginning to lose my religion,as it were.I am not concerned with issues of God or no God anymore because I just think religious texts bore me and are a human fabrication.I don't need these outdated myths and legends preoccupying the wholly integrated self-conceived good mind I am trying to evolve.Religion isn't necessarily to be a good person,so I just simplify it all out of my sensorium.I have no answers to how to solve this crisis and choose not to take on as a problem.These extremists must just be very fucked up individuals who I think just enjoy fighting.

 

I don't even hear any of the most extreme liberals around here saying anything good about ISIS, or their right to have their own opinions, since all they do is wage war against tolerance and diversity. Nobody except their own followers can find anything good about them.

 

They burnt up some ancient, irreplaceable documents today--in fact -the whole library. I think it was in Iraq. I don't know what the world countries are waiting for. These types need to be completely gone as soon as possible.

 

I feel kind of lame about this but such news pains me almost as much as all those humanitarian atrocities. Muslim extremists have been doing such things for years. The Taliban also destroyed precious statues and other ancient monuments in for example Afghanistan. What I feel less lame about is stating that it is sad that this news/info and actually worthwile comments on such happenings get only discussed in shitty threads like this. After all the thread title doesn't say Fuck ISIS or muslim extremists. Maybe a subtile difference for some, not for others.
