So some 80 year old windbag deserves disabilitycwhen im broke and crazy? Why because he let the government talk him into going overseas and killing people? In society its murder in the military its confirmed kills. And we treat these used up shits like heroes. Make em into cat food! I should've enlisted. Then i couldve killed a bunch of people and get treated like a hero for it. Plus id have PTSD which is basically a license to be a fuck up. Wait I already am that. Fuck old people. Fuck you granpa and granma. Hurry up and join your war buddies you miss so much. Free up some resources for those of us who have long mentally ill lives ahead of us. Fuck all vets. Meh, a lot of problems in our respective countries now come from there being too many old people sucking up resources, especially healthcare

Unfortunately, no matter which parent did what to you, you do kind of have to suck it up

For three main reasons:

1, Anyone that didnt see any direct evidence of it only has your word on it
2, Tell people, even if they empathize, will still pidgeon hole you until the end of time
3, It doesnt get the bills paid anyway, you still have to pay off the mortgage, plan for retirement, no one is going to help you with all that....its not like you get a big discount with all of that if your mum or dad were weirdos

Old people are bad because they need more healthcare and resources than normal people.

Old people use resources when they're old. Mentally ill people who are mentally ill enough to qualify for govt benefits use them their entire lives.

But it sounds like you arent ill enough to qualify so suck it up, butter cup, and get a job

 

People who get a job when there aren't enough jobs are basically causing someone else to be unemployed: selfish assholes!

 

again this gets back to, not expectation for the sake of expectation being familiar, but to how we create what kind of a world do we want to have to experience living in.

i do believe that respect is something that has to be earned by consideration,
but also that lack of consideration by anyone toward anyone isn't doing the world any favors.
is part, rather near the root, of the problem and no where near anything that resembles a solution.

it isn't just age, or any other potential disadvantage,
we all owe it to ourselves, how we make the world we have to live in, the way that it is.

yes i know there are some very inconsiderate older people,
and a lot of people get conned into electing them to political office,
along with a lot of equally inconsiderate younger people they do too.

it just isn't age for ages sake,
and i wish more people could understand and realize this.

I'm an 'oldie' now I suppose. I did have a choice, and don't regret the choices I made even if they sometimes didn't work out or got me into trouble. Still, I will moan about things I don't like, and I've lived through lots of those.

My advice to those who want to moan about the old would be to get a life. You'll be old before you know it.

On the other hand, old folks who don't care about the young, or think the young can make do with a lifestyle on a lower level than they had, and less choices, are basically twats.
