Technically, it is illegal. In America, anyway. "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." --4th amendment. Source: Wikipedia. I also feel like the fifth amendment (due process) applies here, but I'm sure the government would disagree. If we are actually presumed innocent of a crime (aka possession, or having THC in your system, which is NOT a crime) then we should not have to prove our innocence (random drug test) if there is no evidence against us. Random drug testing says this: I may or may not have reason to believe that you have or are engaging in illegal activity, but I want to know for sure. So you have to prove it, or some sort of action will be taken against you to manipulate you into submitting to an unreasonable search and seizure. Really though I think another major reason they do it is to keep you from doing it. I'd like to think the fifth amendment protects us from people "making sure" we aren't breaking the law. That is not a presumption of innocence.
They had forensics in at the school today and we now have metal detectors and cameras all around the school... Some kid brought a gun last year and shits practically locked down.. its fucked
yeah we had a similar thing happen in airports here. a bunch of crazy n00bs bought liquid explosives on an airplane. now youre not alowed unlabeled/bagged liquids in your personal baggage and have to take your shoes off for checks and shit like that. you always have a few who screw it up for others, thats why you go after theyre families for revenge.
Haha. Why, thank you. I used to want to go to law school, get into Congress and change shit. I'm jaded now. Plus, I never have been nor will I ever be smart enough to accomplish any of that. Never had the work ethic either. So I just run my mouth instead.
Actually, I did know those amendments already, I just had to look up exactly which number they were. I like to know what my rights are.
the irony of course is that the very same document that these people are failing to follow, was indeed printed on cannabis paper. but, the OP is from mexico, wonder if it's different there?
^^ Our founding fathers would be horrified that Marijuana is illegal. In their time, it was Illegal NOT to grow it because it was such a huge part of the economy. Also during world war 2 (I think) they temporarily lifted the ban because they were using hemp as a resource for the war and needed it to be grown locally. So they can have it when they want it, but I guess it's better for the economy to use plastic and shit, as long as it keeps people from getting high.
Man, that sucks, hopefully too many kids test positive and they dont do anything, though that probably wont happen
a friend of mine tested negative once even though he smoked the night before......theyre supposed to be doing random drug testing at my school but my school has no money so i dont know whats goin on
^yeah, atleast the private schools around here are allowed too because i don't think they have to follow all the states rules and whatnot about education
yep, during world war 2 the government actually made a propaganda movie that was PRO hemp, called hemp for victory, which encouraged farmers to grow hemp and showed all of its uses. of course when the war ended, we put the ban back on. genius, huh? :hat:
If my private school told me to piss in a cup, I would, but then throw said cup of piss in their face and skedaddle. EDIT: good luck dude.
