Fuck buddy problems.

I actually like this guy.. he's super nice, funny, cute, we have really great sex. Would it be weird to segue from fwb to dating? I think he likes me too.. I think.. how can you tell if the person you're fucking likes you? such a weird situation.

 

I think the only way to know is to ask. It wouldn't be the first time such a thing has occurred.

 

You don't think it would be weird? I don't really know how to ask. It kind of seems like we were supposed to meet. I did a tarot card reading on the relationship and it looks positive, I really feel (and hope) like he feels the same way.

 

I don't think asking how someone feels when you're intimate with them is weird, at all, no. It might be uncomfortable but it's totally understandable and frankly necessary. I've never done the fuck buddy thing, but I thought the rule was as soon as you start getting feelings you tell the person so feelings don't get hurt too badly.

 

Oh gosh.. rules.. we never talked about rules.. we are just kind of trying to see how it goes I guess you know? We barely talk about future plans until I'm leaving and I casually bring up seeing him again. If there are rules on telling the person you like them, I would rather him tell me if he liked me because I feel like the ball is kind of in his court. Like, I feel like he already knows that I like him.

Whether you want to date him or not is ambiguous from the statements that you have made. Some statements seem to clearly indicate that you want to date him. Others indicate that you do not.

 

Yes, the whole fwb situation indicates that I don't want to date him. I haven't said anything about how I feel here, just expressed what he's done and what I think it means. The other day he said to me "I love you... r vagina" and he said that he likes the way his sheets smell like me when I leave... We love making out with each other and today he texted me unprompted to ask me how my dentist appointment went.. I think he likes me.

 

Well at the end of day, only he knows why he did what he did. There are hundreds of reasons but yes, it is him and not you.
