Just the regular sort... I think I have a pic in my albums where I have a grip in mine. You do have to be a bit careful putting them in...but they should be ok if you're careful.

I have a question for anyone who regularly puts their dreads up in a pony tail or pig tails

do you form little bumps on you scalp from where the hair is being pulled by the hair bow?

I semi-regularly put my hair into a pony tail for work and can't say I've noticed, that said my scalp is pretty fucked up anyway so it would be like pissing into an ocean of piss as they say.

what do u tie it up with how tight
try just cutting the sleeve off a t shirt,
force your head through it till all your dreads are out
then take the sleeve end ()not the end u cut which is slightly wider) and pull it back up and over the dreads (have the seam at the back, that parts shorter then the part at the front where the top of the shoulder connected)
i think you will find its very confy
the 1st times might be unconfy forcing your headthrough and having it tight around your neck till u pull it back up but after a few times it stretcheds enough to make it less annoying

    edit thought i replied earlirer
    with this
i usualy tie 1 dread around the rest
typicaly 1 from the center but often one from the side or back
they dont really pull tho cause they wrap 6-8 times around 1st

I've been doing something similar with a scarf.
I don't have one dread long enough to wrap around the rest :)
