Now I just donate every few months to a random GoFundMe (or equivalent) for people who need help paying vet bills and stuff like that.

i'd love to lay some cash on everything i believe in, including a lot of artists i know with patrions and go fund mes and the like,
but doing anything with money on the internet, there's that big pot hole in the road called equafax, and that's just one example,
there's no such thing as a completely secure link, even the banks and the military who try to make theirs as secure as it is possible for anything to be.
the old days of post office boxes and money orders were good. lots of places now a days just don't seem to have that option.
i'll still stick a couple of bux in a coffee can with a label on it when i get the chance though, like if i'm ever someplace in person,
or buy a print in the dealer's room at a convention or something like that.

So far, so good... The Red Cross has gotten around to me. But the only thing they did was thank me for contributing to disaster relief from hurricane Maria. I donated to more than just that one, but I guess the thank you went out to those who contributed to Maria specifically. But they didn't ask for more, so I guess I'm impressed with them.
