Friends with the ex's friends?

also there's a difference between people you just hang out with and actual FRIENDS.

 

unfortunately that is very true ...
I try and be "friendly" but deep down , I'm quite cynical/ a realist.

 

yeah... I'm thinking if you became friends with your boyfriend's friends.. they are now your friends too.. and you should continue hanging out with them if you'd like to.

I never understood the whole "why are you still friends with him after we broke up omg$%&&^!!" thing

 

I wonder if the ex's friends have any say in this...

No one here cares who the op is friends with. Some of us are just skeptical that the "just friends" thing is going to work. We speak from experience. And the ex's friends may have just been being nice to their buddy's gf and it is being taken the wrong way.

I guess she will find out eventually how this is going to play out.

 

Well, I actually talked to him today. I went into my store to talk to my manager and I ran into Kenny, so I asked him where my manager was. We ended up having a good conversation, and he asked me where I've been lately. So things look good so far.
