eh, i just need an occasional reminder not to be so damn kind.

 

Well, danbangit, I cannot paste any photo url here, it seems, wthout it saying that extension not allowed, so I have to keep saving the darn things to my photos, and they are small and need to be clicked on....sort of loses the appeal that way, though....

I get the same problem in all the threads :/

 

The file extension has to be .jpg or other acceptable form.

 

i've never seen this happen? what extension is the photos this happens to? i've only had it say the file size was too large (250k max i think). you should post exactly what you tried to use so i can see what's wrong. surround it with [code} tags so it won't try to make it a link or something

so it shows up as the actual raw text. note that if you try to use html like above that its gonna trip out. if you try to copy and paste it from somewhere like that it won't work. it has to be like

try getting rid of the html markup, you want just `http://...*.jpg etc`. if you click the pretty picture icon and post the url in that box it'll make the tags for you

Probably to some people, yeah. But being overly kind is what is commonly perceived as creepy. Like for example some stranger wishing you a good day with such an exaggerated kindness you just have to think this person grins so madly (s)he got to have some problems.

OK, will try seeing about what I am doing wrong with photos here later....gotta run the dogs now, but thanks for the advice, as it happens all of the time, and I think I just keep picking the wrong photos, as Ari said it happens with her sometimes, depending on the photos, I think.

OK, here is the link tothe page that the frog friendly reminder was on...only it is gone....out of all of them, the frog is gone....twilight zone time....
At any rate, I just tried another one....news alert, you are not god, and got the error page, extension not allowed thing again....Yes, I click on a photo I like on any page like this....then hit properties with my mouse, highlight the url from that, come here and hit the pretty picture, yes, paste in the url....and I always get extension not allowed......?????....this page has some cute friendly reminder things on it....to not derail the thread.
