I know...it hurts...I either need to bulk up or play with smaller people. It can be fun...but I always ended up with a 200lb person on me...I guess that's what you get when you play with members of the football team and their friends. But hey, I did meet some cute guys that way...but they were never the ones to fall on me.

I know! It was usually the biggest most obnoxious one that targeted me though...the one that falls on you, squishes you, gets up and laughs like Goofy.

that just gave me an awsome idea for a team A team 2 unofficial challenge.
ya take a rugby game premise, but you use quick posting to make touch downs..
ugh...this is really hard to explain...
every post is worht 15 yards, and ya gotta do it in a story like mode running inbetween different threads. ...something sorta like this

danger is hiked the ball at the 50 yard line, avoiding team 2 he manages to slip to the 35 yard line in the boobie club thread.

then i would have to edit a pre-existing post of mine in the booby club thread so it says FORUM FOOTBALL in bold....the first person to quote that post then pikcs up the ball and carries it another 15 yards to a thread they will specify where they edited in a pre existing post FORUM FOOTBALL in bold.
of course if a team member of team 2 were to post first quoting one of my posts before another team A'r can't, then its an interception, and they gotta work it back 15 yards at a time....ya could have team plays where ya know the code blue 42, means booty to the my boyfriend, to the marry fuck or kill to a hi im a new member...

is anyone else following what im saying or am i just talking out of my ass?

You can't be serious. Did you really read my posts and think that it made the claim that the gladitorial games were the direct cause of the collpase of the empire? LOL!

Look again. And this time, think about what you are reading instead of trying to come up with some lame attempt at a witty put-down.

 

You said they were indicative of their decay. Did you mean moral decay? Or decay as in diminish and go away(ie. fall)?

 

Do you know what the word 'indicative' means? That means the games were a symptom, not the disease. And if I meant the games showed both the moral decay of ancient Rome and that they were a prelude to its decline, it still wouldn't mean that the games were the cause of either. If it did, that would be like saying the chicken pox are caused by little red spots on your skin.

 

EDIT: I had a nice retort but why don't you PM me so we don't spam the thread. I honestly wanna know what it is about football that you feel is so bad.
