foto problem

I would like to what i might be doing wrong.On some of my fotos in my picture files when i transfer them to a post i get they are to large.How do i go about getting them to fit or making them smaller so they will post????

 

what format are they? is it *.tiff, *.jpg, *.gif?

 

if you have some sort of photo editing program, such as photoshop you can go to image size and change the size of the picture, to fit

One that i wanted to download is a gif size 12. if that helps.

Yes i should have redid that but 12kilobytes.I have done ones that were bigger and it worked so not sure what i am doing wrong.Thanks for your help too jerry420.
