Over the years, I used a lot of online forums to discuss all kinds of topics because well, I guess I identify as a nerd. Unfortunately, they have depleted their usefulness and forums have been rendered mostly inactive in 2023 because of "better" platforms arriving. So it sucks to have to admit this, but I think most of them are practically dead in this day of age.

This is true. You have probably noticed that people are inviting you to join Discord rather than asking you to participate on the average message board these days.

Forums for video games are just rubbish though, because losers who love to seem like they're tough and know-it-all scum, regularly inhabit them. If you say anything that is perceived to be outwith their scope of shilling, snide, slavery remarks, because they are clearly another puppet for the machine that is pop culture, you best consider it account suicide. They hate that practice and strongly discourage you display any shred of honesty.

In all seriousness, I just lost interest in sticking it to them. Myself and others used to enjoy slagging them off, and not to brag here, but we were damn good at it. The result of my misspent youth. Then you get older which is a pity, and feel like it was kind of a waste of time in the long run. Ha-ha.

    Well, sometimes...

But yeah. How often did you come across a bothersome insect on the Internet who tried to stir the pot? I mean, seriously. They are not even able to proof read anything for the sake of being remotely logical, because they want to contaminate the web with their drivel. Then if you prove them wrong, they never come back to offer an apology. They run for the hills.

It is like trying to get blood from a stone ranting back at them. But this is why I kind of grew to hate YouTube along with forums.

Once, YouTube was essentially about broadcasting your honest views. I'm sure that was even worked into some sort of a slogan. "Broadcast yourself" (or something).

Sadly, Google was able to find a way to tempt people with earning cash, so now just about everybody logged in on there blatantly lies through their teeth to plug awful video games, movies, electronics, or whatever the hell the subject is, normally for a copy of the game before it goes on general sale. You know it is false when they are instructed what to say in advance.

But I prefer to support independent YouTubers, because they just do it as a hobby to get their points across. Screw monetary gain and bashing on other members. You know?

They earn my respect way quicker than any of these shills do. But they are clueless. I guess they dive out of dodge so not to take the rap thereafter.

    In other words...

    Rumbled! :D
