    Didn't eat it last night. I was up till midnight cooking the damn thing.

    We'll see how tonight goes.

    I believe the heat from cooking would kill anything that would hurt you.

    id have smelled it

    if it smelled ok id go ahead and slow cook it ...

    if it didnt id trim off the bad parts and turn that roast into a jerky batch

    Spiff's right. If it smells okay, cooking above 145 F (internal meat temperature) will kill most bacteria, but it can take a long time. If you slow cook in the crock pot, and check the temperature when it comes out. You should aim for about 160-165 with a pot roast anyway.

    A Chinese Take Out.....Turns Out The Freezer Had A Fault And The Pork Partially Thawed Out.....

    They Thought It Would Be OK......Well It Wasn't......In And Out Of Consciousness For 2 Days......

    Doctor Said Had It Been A Different Strain I Most Certainly Would Have Died......:screamcat:

    The only way to tell is to smell it.
    We did not have the luxury of a fridge in my younger days and my late mother used her nose to determine what needed to be consumed that day before it went rancid.
