In the UK it’s more common to be uncut. In the US it’s more common to be cut. I’ve lived in both countries. What’s very interesting is that Canadians seem to be around 50/50 (both being equally common).
I'm uncut and from the UK. I'd saying removing the foreskin was more common 70 or more years ago. But the practice died out in the UK as anything routine from around the 1950. It is an unnecessary procedure, and anyone who is cut these days, it's down to religious reasons. It's a bit like Female Gential Mutilation where the labia lips are cut.
Go look on you tube at baby's being circumcised then come back and restate your cote about baby's being less sensitive. Baby's being put in a body mold to hold them still, and the cut without pain killers.
But for female circumcision, they take them out of the UK and back to there homeland to be cut, sad to say.
For a very very small number, and it's not their homeland, as they are usually born in the UK and British. It may be their parents or grand parents homeland.
I think the FGM is generally a more extreme procedure than the male circumcision. I’m against both, but I think one is worse than the other.
I'm with you there, just got chucked off a site fighting with pro circumcision guys they would have everyman cut, kind of stinks.
I guess I never felt that way because I grew up in an environment where I saw both kinds all the time, so both seemed “normal” to me. Growing up “comparing” I quickly saw the advantages to being uncut.
We had a thing in school round heads and cavaliers, i was a cavalier and still the same and love it, there is a group of guys who get on sites and try to take over, there pro circumcision and complete bunch of wankers, got me chucked off a site, but from what I have seen there pussy cats now, they had the sting taken out of there tails and declawed.
