foraging,food for free

    anyone into foraging care to share any knowledge and experiences

    Bit late in the season now, but yes Blackberries, Damsons and apples grow in the wild if you know where to look. Pheasants too, if you manage to catch one or two. There are places where deer also roam wild, but of course, its considered 'poaching' so one needs to be careful.

    there are lots of goodies out there ,,,tis time to pick sloes from the blackthorn bush ,,sloes are good for making wine ,or gin ,,im going to make jam with the ones that i forage this year ,and its time for mushrooms
