Why is all this so interesting? Seriously. It's four male adults drinking a few beers and conversing.
it is only in front of his suit in the close up, but it is markedly darker than the other beers in every picture. the lighting could make a difference, but since the lighting on the area surrounding the beer is not odd considering the lighting in the rest of the picture, it can only be assumed that the beer itself wasn't in some incredibly dark shadow which ONLY fell on that beer and nothing around it. if anything listed, he's drinking a sam adams - but it still seems a little dark for that, too.
Just the fact that it's even newsworthy, for one. Plus, the whole thing just seemed fake and put on. It was another photo-op. I can't imagine any of these guys were comfortable -- at least not Gates and Crowley.
Sam Adams wasn't listed as one of the beers, though. The article simply suggested they should have went with Sam Adams (because it's American owned). But yeah, it does look a bit too dark for a Red Stripe.
whoops, my fault you're right. i've had a few SA honey porters tonight :cheers2: nothing amazing, but good beer and pretty cheap compared to other good beer at my liquor store...less than 8 bucks for a six pack.... most quality beers here run at least 10 bucks for a sixpack.... but it still doesn't look like a red strip, lol:cheers2:
haha, i really can't tell why someone would consider this newsworthy. then again, i didn't complain when they talked about bush swallowing a pretzel without chewing first...
it's not the lighting, in the new different angle picture you can see gates beer through biden's beer, just a little of it. if it were the lighting then it wouldn't look so noticeably darker through biden's beer, and you wouldn't be able to see it. it's some kind a dark beer (filament freak) don't know shit about beer, so I can't help you with that.
its not red stripe. i saw them talking on the morning show with a bunch of women they said it could be beck's
i don't have a source, but i saw a buddy of mine post in quotation marks elsewhere: "The president was drinking Bud Light, Biden was drinking Buckler (a nonalcoholic beer), Gates was drinking Samuel Adams Light and Crowley was drinking Blue Moon."
