For the growers in here...

so do you guys make compost or mulch out of your "waste".. you know.. stems.. fan leaves.. stalks? i would see how it would make some sense to do so.. but i never hear anything about it

 

For me it's usually frozen and used for hash.

 

It seems alot of outdoor growers do compost there useless trim (fan leaves and stems basically)...........being an indoor grower, i just bag all my useless trim until summer and then burn it in my fire pit.........some interesting smells come out of that fire pit sometimes!!!!

 

Personally when I plan on growing I am going to use the stems and leaves to make Honey Oil and Green Dragon as well as other things. Going to see.

 

save it to make hash/oil

i knew some growers who would give my buddies like 10 big black garbage bags full of shake and clippings, they would pick ounces of pop corn buds out of the bottoms and use the rest for hash

 

what's a pop corn bud? seedy?

 

myself no, not really, there is a mold risk...

 

Smaller nugs

 

large amounts leaf burning smells really weird. Its heavy, I think it hangs around alot longed and I dont like to do it.
Maybe a smug bowl once in a while..

 

If by compost you mean toss in a 7/11 dumpster when no one's looking, then yeah, that's what I do.. :cheers2:

I toss everything but the trim... and the trim goes to either the bubble bags or BHO for hash/oil, or into budder to make edibles...

 

my bags are always sealed with a stem. it's as hard as wood.

as for leafs and stuff... my friends friend grows bud, and that's where i get mine, but... i think he composts it, i doubt he uses the compost to grow more, but...

 

I compost mine.
