For the girls: How long did you wait before having sex with your boyfriend?

Well, with Daniel, we were together for 6 days. I really wanted to do it right off the bat, but my friends were a bunch of douchebags and said I was fast and easy and they were taking bets on when I'd screw him. I only lasted 6 days and we decided that if the words fast and easy came up again, we'd be doing some ass kickage.

I wouldn't wait for the sake of waiting, I'd wait until I trusted the guy and felt comfortable around him, which for me can take a while. I think what a lot of the douchebag males on here are forgetting is that your first time can hurt like hell, and why would you want to put yourself through that kind of pain for someone you weren't sure about?

I say a month is a good amount of time........... unless of course you are friends first, who randomly decide to start dating. then I think you can fuck right away. just from knowing eachother for so long....

depending on what type of guy he is and his age.. i'd say if he's in his early to mid-twenties definitely make him wait 3+ months before you give in.

as i know with myself, and the friends i've talked to, it's a psychological thing. and once you've slept with a girl that you don't feel intense feelings for you might as well throw the rest out of the window..

imo after this has happened, a girl can do almost nothing to redeem herself..

i'm not advising abstinence at all or anything.. i'm just saying that he will most likely have fun with you for a while and then get rid of you (even if he sort of likes you now)

i have a lot of experience with this.. so it pretty much speaks for itself.

I'm not asking him to wait a year, or even six months. Excuse me for feeling like this is a big deal. It's my choice who I do it with, and the person I do it with needs to be someone who's going to stay in my life awhile. I don't want to have fucked a temporary, two ships that passed in the night. It'd be one thing if I'd had sex before, but the first time IS a big deal and I will treat it that way if I choose.

I don't really do the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing, titles always seem like sort of a lot for me. I have intamite friends sometimes...but that's hard to judge by this threads standards because i've often known said friends for a little while before sleeping with them, but we never consider ourselves to be dating.
