I never get bored every time I watch the Patriot, but I've seen it a million times.

 Strange how some movies are just like that...

Ahah... I love alot of the irony in that movie. :D Especially at that one part where the loyalists were holding that big banquet in Charleston and they watch their ships get blown up in Charleston harbor throughout the duration, right off the beach of where they're holding it... and then Colonel Tarvington (green dragoon leader) chugs his drink and throws the glass. [IMG]

That and the part where they use they take straw scarecrows hostage and make Lord Cornwallis think that they just captured his forces and it makes him release militia hostages... :D

Takes place during the American Revolution around South Carolina and the Santee River area. It's kinda bloody at some parts, though  But I love it for the irony and history... that and it being based on Sir Francis Marion and all... swamp fox.

Ahah, well... I understand war of this scale, I just wish people could find less ignorant things to fight for these days.

And the hatchet scene is amazing. I never imagined what Marion and the militia were really like till I saw alot of it... you really can't get that at re-enacments. I've been to two or three so far, this weekend, for memorial day.

Well, I grew up around Yorktown/Williamsburg and have been to most places in the Carolinas, so it's just kinda like watching that movie with Colin Ferrell about Jamestown or The Notebook and pointing out all the places I recognize/have been... :D

Minority Report was filmed two miles from my house, though... Aha, Tom Cruise was with a bunch of guys and they got him a newspaper, the only time I ever saw him.
