*weeps* Yep, baby girl is one today. She's her normal smiley self. I'm all weepy though. What an amazing transformation she's made...Once a helpless cooing little baby, now a walking "talking" independent, precocious little dancer girl. I'll have pictures up soon.... OMG. I can't believe it's been a whole year already. I remember those first few days as if it were yesterday. It's hard to believe how quickly it went. Happy Birthday little one. May the next year be so full of adventure. Kathi

yay! happy birthday big girl! I just looked at your photo link. I cannot believe how much she has grown. she is so beautiful.
She was born at 11:05, PST. One year ago at this very moment, I was holding my newborn daughter, only a half hour old, and sobbing like a little baby (me, not the baby). I remember how she shot out like a torpedo as Holly was vomiting all over my shirt. The next few hours were crazy as Holly needed a couple of stitches, the baby had her first bath, we cleaned up and were taken to our room, and we watched her for a bit before crashing out. I remember waking up in my puke covered shirt a few hours later, but not giving a damn about that as I watched my girls sleeping. 365 days later, this kid is walking, dancing, saying words such as "mine", "money", and "butt". At this rate, she's gonna be borrowing my bankcard before she's two! But she occasionally reminds me of the day of her birth whenever she messes on my shirt.

The pics still don't do justice to the amount of smiling she does all day long. Just heard her giggling in the other room as Holly tickled her feet. And after a hellish day at work, seeing her smile when I walked in the room was the best moment of my day. In fact, what am I doing here? I'm gonna go give her some tickles right now. Thanks to everybody for your happy happy and joy joy.
