I’ve tried a few metal rings and both liked and disliked aspects of them. They weren’t too hard to get on when you get used to it. I guess the key is finding one the right size. Of the steel donut rings I tried, I found I liked to have just a touch of wiggle room. For me that was a 50mm internal diameter one. I tried a smaller ring (45) and then stupidly an even smaller one (40). Both were just too tight, where the cumshot hurt and I felt sore afterwards even after using plenty of lube.

Well after my previous post I’ve found my favourite stainless steel ring so far. A 55mm ‘XL band’ one which is thinner, lighter and less chunky than the traditional ‘donut’ ones.

I have an average size cock but relatively big balls. Getting my junk through a 45mm donut ring was challenging but it simply felt too tight once on and when I shot my load the tightness was too much and it took the pleasure away. I’d still like to try those contoured Primal rings sometime. Just reading about them and the ‘keyhole’ shape lets your balls hang a little rather than forcing them upwards. That's great that you found "The one". I love mine also, and the steel feels better to me. But like you, I have to try one size bigger than the 45 I've had. I find the 45 great for my anal play because It helps keep me above flaccid yet I never get fully hard. Now if I play with my cock or anything that's going to get me hard, the 45 is too small. Even if you measure yourself before using a steel cock ring (always a good idea!) to some degree there is some trial and error involved. Well I kind of expected this given my previous posts about sizing, but I had to try that 45mm Primal contoured ring. Whilst it was hard to find positives with a ring that felt way too tight, had my knob turning purple, made me cum way sooner than planned due to the intense pressure (and just to get the damn thing off!) and left me aching for some time afterwards, I did feel like the shape would work in a larger size, and perhaps a slimmer model like the Fusion or Spark (I tried the original Energy ring).
