For anyone who was a fan of Doyle in Angel...

If you don't know already... he died of a drug overdose in 2002. I've only just found out and I am really sad.

didnt know that just watching Angel Season 1 now thats sad news.

 

Yeah, I remember hearing about it after it happened. It was bad enough when he left Angel, and then...that. I heard that his drug problem is why Joss fired him from the show. I wish he'd gotten help. Such a great talent gone to waste, just like River Phoenix.

 

He was my fave character. I did wonder why he left the show so early though. Does anyone know what drug it was?

 

i always presumed it was planned from the beginning for him to only stay for half a season so cordie could get his powers, am i wrong?
