yea true. i think i said something to that effect in this thread already. i could be wrong and don't wanna bother looking.

i was just being cocky and expressing the view that football is tougher or more bad-ass than soccer. soccer players are definitely athletes but football i think might be harder on the body.

 

It is demanding in different ways. Lineman can just be huge motherfuckers and not always that athletic, in contrast to soccer players who are in constant motion the entire game basically (keeper not included, but they still need to be able to react out of nowhere and dive in odd positions).

 

yea your reflexes have to be sharper than a hunting knife....i pulled some random trick out of my ass today in soccer and passed it to my friend and he scored a goal...it was hella tight

 

i like football better than soccer. just my preference

lol. thats completely different. your comparing a fish to an instrument. football has been around for hundreds of years, until we created a new sport and "stole" the name football.

Those too bass's aren't even pronounced the same silly, and I only made that comment because he said "real football", basically denoting that soccer wasn't good enough (or at least that is what I gathered from it). In no way do I honestly care enough about it to need to "get over it"
