  6. I’ve ordered Marmite and Vegemite. I like the texture of vegemite better but Marmite tastes better.

  11. Not that brand but we have several. Usually it’s either country gravy. (Cream gravy ) which is more southern. And the brown gravy. Cream gravy goes with chicken fried steak which Texans claim to have invented. (It’s a lot like schnitzel so I’m not sure ). But definitely no bread crumbs. The steak is battered with egg and milk and then seasoned flour.

    I actually prefer the Canadian baked beans. Not at all keen on the British ones.

  17. I have always eaten beans on toast which is not common here. Then I started watching Brit television and saw it’s a go to food at least in the North of England
